Coding for folding door mirrors

I have a 2011 335is convertible and want to close my mirrors up when I lock my doors . I see it needs to be coded. Anyone in the Nashville / mt Juliet area know how to do that or can even do it ... Let me know ... Thanks in advance

If you have an Android or an iPhone and a Bluetooth OBD adapter you can do it yourself.

You might have better luck posting in your region's sub forum.
Also, I have it coded in my 'vert but the novelty has worn off haha. If your top is down and you want to fold in the mirrors, the roof will close.

Useful feature as it will also roll the windows/close the sunroof.

But instead of paying someone, why not either:
#1 - Buy a $30 cable, install the software on a laptop and do it yourself. Coding is pretty easy; getting the software to run happily is a PITA.

#2 - Get the BMWhat App. The app and adapter will set you back about $100 total. Then you can simply pull the app up on your phone, code whatever you want and are done. Quicker/easier (and probably cheaper) than finding someone to code for you.

Only reason I went with #1 is that the BMWhat app doesn't do everything that you can do with a laptop (yet), such as programming for different battery types, coding new fuel injectors, etc. Otherwise I would have probably went that route instead.

+1 on BMWhat app.

It is a lot more user-friendly than coding through a laptop. In fact, I think ANYONE can do coding with BMWhat.
