Boost issue

Hey guys, have a 2007 335i that has been periodically going into Limp mode (throwing the half full CEL symbol). Obviously when this happens I lose all boost. Eventually it threw a SES and I took it to the dealer, they told me I needed to replace the boost pressure sensor. Got a genuine bmw one, pulled out the old one and installed the new one yesterday. Attempted to manually clear the code with the Torque android app, SES won't go away tho. drove to school this morning, feels like I have no or atleast significantly less boost than normal, car does not say it's in Limp mode. Car has run fine/been plenty fast before I swapped out the sensor when not in Limp mode even with the SES on. Help!

Update: started it up after school yesterday, SES was gone and boost was back, car also seemed noticably faster than it was before I replaced the sensor. Fast forward to about midnight last night; driving home, romped on it good in first, went into limp mode...shut car off, turned back on, tried again, limp mode again and SES came on as well this time. Wtf?

Do you know what codes are actually being thrown?

I have the Torque Pro app with a bluetooth OBD II adaptor, it says "P111F" code, powertrain related, but it doesn't show any actual information. This is the same code it had in there before I changed the sensor.

Are you using a tune of any sort? Your description of the problem could be a few different things, but I'd lean towards a misfire.

There is a Dinan tune on the car, was there when I bought it, assuming it's probably a stage one but I have no way of knowing for sure unless I call them. Was just driving around, normal driving, went into Limp mode again, no SES right now tho.
