ST, Top or bottom mount? arguments only

Hi,

As I'm progressing on my low budget ST project planning, came to question either turbo should be top mounted or bottom, and i need to make decision.
Need to note that Turbo will be GTW3684(by specs its close to 6262 or 3582) which is single scroll only.

I would be thankful for arguments for both of them, i will start,

Top Mounted:
Pros:
1) Good Looking, always happy to open up hood
2) Easier for maintenance, checking leaks, easy remove/install if needed

Cons:
1) More difficult to make manifold and downpipe,
2) Longer tubes/pipes for manifold (is it bad?)
3) Longer lines for cooling
4) Smaller place for wastegates, O2 sensors

Bottom Mounted:
Pros:
1) No need to relocate coolant thing(?)
2) Better manifold?

Cons
1) More difficult to reach

He was right this car is the new civic. Hopefully you have the Fab experience and are just new to cars. You'll want to talk to Payam or Andy they are nice guys and might be able to help you decide. The main reason most platforms use top mount manifolds is they generally fit bigger turbos. But because of the rake on the N54 it's not the same. Manifold design can let you have the same size turbo in bottom mount.

Anyway @[fastgti69](contact:102896] Andy doesn't seem to be on here but AD Engineering or he is on that other place that I cant even indirectly mention here.

Bottom mount... Less heat up top in the engine bay during hot months.
