ON3Performance 335I Single Turbo kit

COMING Soon, On3Performance just finish doing the Top Mount Turbo kit for the N54. Well made kit and low price. Once they finish the prototype, is going for production. If you ever see their Mustang kits, you know is awesone, well made, v-banded in/out exhaust, all SCH 10 stainless fittings and tube. I have some pictures of what they doing.

I like my turbo kits made by people who know how to use spell check. And attempt to use to use some grammar. Just saying.

Those pics show nothing more than a 1-2 split done incorrectly...

The OP posted nothing of value. No pictures of runners, O2 placement, wastegate setup, head flange quality, plumbing for any of it, and no prices or even a hint at pricing. This is OP's fail, not ours.

The owner do not want to show the manifold yet, until they are done.Trust me, I saw the manifold and the runners are very thick. The price is not set yet, but according to the seller, is going to be lot less than the other kits out there. I am writing this post so the N54 owner know that we have another arternative for single turbo kits, so I you do not have anything nice to say, do not say it.

I have no personal experience with On3, however Google doesn't suggest great things from them. Their manifold might be OK I'm not sure, but their turbos are apparently nothing to brag about.

I'm all for more companies diving into the N54, and driving the platform along, it's what keeps a platform alive. So i'll hold back on too much judgement based on words from other platforms and On3. OP, get us some details ASAP.

So, strictly for example, you're saying that if I see something that would be a quality flaw, an item that is overpriced, or think a vendor has bad customer service that I should sit idly by and not say anything because someone might deem it as "not nice"? Umm...

I like it. All this bashing but yet they have plenty of products pushing people into the 8 sec mark. I'm not defending nor bashing the bigger companies. It's a great option for the budget minded person. For what it's worth, they got 2011+ mustangs in to the deep 9's...I haven't seen a single 335i even close to that yet.

More options the better, this is great news. However, I did not understand 80% of what the OP said. May the spell check, grammar check, and sentence fragment check Gods be on your side next time around OP..

Welcome to the BMW community lol. I'm excited to see how this kit performs. On3 turbo kits have had a lot of success in the mustang community especially with the coyote motors.

If horsepower equaled even 10's on a N54 we would be there. Not a problem with power we have a problem with getting good 60'. Also anyone that compares mustang times/products to this platform is a little delirious.

Garage List
It is stated to be a prototype. Might want to let them get closer to production before bashing, or who knows, we could miss out on something unique with this kit.

We have quite a bit of experience with On3, we were actually going to be working with them almost 4 years ago. We decided against it for a few reason, the quality is not top notch, and you are basically getting Ebay chinese parts through, and through. BUT, and its a big BUT, they do work, and they do make power. This platform is getting cheaper, and cheaper, and cheaper so the people buying them will get cheaper, and cheaper, and cheaper. This kit will sell well to that crowd. To someone who wants a very high quality, thought out kit, they will look elsewhere. Simple

wrong. they have a stock up opened 5.0 running under 10 sec with around 750-800 which is in the same range as some other single turbo 335/135. Also plenty of vendors on here sell the supporting mods to get a good 60'...LSD, DSS axles, twin disk clutches etc. The mustang is a really good comparison as they weight pretty much the same as a 335i.

2011-2014 are not far off in weight and i believe they weigh more.

Unfortunately a lot of suspension geometry differences makes Mustang's not nearly the same as this platform; especially 2014 and earlier Mustangs which were still a solid rear axle. Suspension geometry is what puts the power to the ground along with other chassis differences. You'd be hard pressed to see a 335i cut 1.4 60 foots

(Note, this was also a video where they were having problems so it actually had a little more left in on the 60, see youtube notes).
