So starting in December I'll be looking for a new job, something to pay the bills while I work on opening my real business.

Looking for something outside my line of work which is hospitality/culinary/restaurant because of the late nights.

Anyone have any advice? Short term 2 years max.

although you left out a lot of factors, your description sounds like some people i've crossed path with over the years. some of these people transitioned into the hotel industry well due to their experience and were able to shift to a more 9-5 type position.

it's still likely hospitality but you might be able to score days instead of nights. i know you said "something different" but at least you can turn it into a career if your other aspirations don't work out.

some people hate that industry so if for some reason you decide to take that path, don't hate me.

Whatever pays the bills I would say is the answer - labouring, cleaning, call centre, taxi driver, courier. Do what you've gotta do

Focus on your business... 100% is not enough to succeed.. you will need 110% to be a successful entrepreneur
