We need more of those in that river. Bigger too. Would be much more effective than a border fence.

I have nothing against cheap labor from across the border, I support a guest worker program. It's the assholes who cross illegally that I have nothing but disdain for. As far as I'm concerned anything that befalls them is their own fault.

^^ On that I agree,... I'm not trying to defend anyone that works in the US illegally, that's just not good. I think that a guest worker program is actually what the US and Mexico - South America need to help each economy and people.
Anyway, back on topic,... that gator is too big!

Piranhas, sharks, alligators.. They would all be nice. Maybe instead of going to the gun range, people could just take a trip to the border for a few days and lay out in a lawn chair.. I doubt anyone that lives in southern Texas would mind at all, other than the illegal immigrants themselves and their relatives already in the U.S. What most people don't realize/pay heed to when they move to another country, is the fact that you are supposed to adapt/change to fit their culture. You leave your culture behind, you learn that countries language, you adapt to their society(Of course it takes time to learn a language but almost all immigrants from Mexico show no progress/interest in learning the English language). You don't try to make that country how your home was as much as you want to. If you live in Houston, and anywhere south of it you might as well be in Mexico. 90% of signs are in both English and Spanish, which is saying it is ok to know nothing but Spanish and not even try to learn the countries language(There are more and more in Spanish alone every single day). I went to a Mexican food restaurant the other day and only one of the waiters barely knew any English.. Probably why everyone gave us a weird look when two white guys, an Asian, and a Hispanic guy that didn't know any Spanish walked in. Tired of this Hispanic Reconquista.. all of my friends think it is ridiculous as well. Yes, even my Hispanic friends. If I move to Germany, I am going to learn German and adapt to their way of living.. It may take a while, but that would be my goal, to live as if I was born there instead of taking my home with me as most immigrants from Mexico do(Regardless of being illegal or not). I applaud France on their actions against immigrants attack on their language with the Toubon Law. Unlike the U.S. they actually take their country/heritage seriously, and deem it necessary to learn French. IIRC Texas will soon have a law similar to it, making English mandatory(Hopefully). -Nathan

Fuck all y'all.
If you were born in Mexico, you'd cross the border too. And if everyone spoke Spanish south of Houston, you'd never learn English, either. Put yourself in someone else's position, for a change of heart. It will work wonders for your small, narrow mind. Don't tell me you'd put up with living in poverty, with all of the U.S. has to offer just across the border. |
