E40 gains?

Hey guys I've done lots of research and I know this has been talked about before but just curious if I will notice a big improvement from wedge pro tuned with 94 octane to an E40 mix tune. It's not readily available to me and I have to get it shipped. Also FBO.

Thanks guys.

Expect anywhere from 20-50whp gain, depending on the tuning.

However, if you are FBO, you might hit the HPFP limit at high enough of a boost level, and definitely will hit the stock LPFP limit if you have haven't upgraded that yet.

Thanks guys, will be running stock LPFP and was told depending how the fuel systems health is I should be able to run E40. I just wanna justify the shipping and fuel cost to the benefits.

Don't forget, based on what I can see, their Ethanol is actually E98+ so your ratio might be a bit less to achieve E40 blend gallon for gallon, versus most pump E85 is E80-85 season depending.

Exactly. It's a great price and will last me longer for my blends! It's one of the best ethanol fuels in the US from what I've heard. They've been in business for many years. Alex is who I would talk to there. Ships everywhere.

If your lpfp is older try to do e30 instead of e40. You'll feel the car a lot faster with a custom map for e30/40 than 94oct.

You will def beneft off an E40 mix!!!! Especially with Wedges Backend flash which really gets as much gains your going to probably ever get. And its not hard letting Wedge make you a custom DME file for your specific vehile, what the car I general going to be used for, (for instance a daily, a weekend chill car, track car especially or any high performance driving or aggressive driving.

I know every car is different but I ran E85 for coming up on the last 3 years now!!! Wow time flys!! and not one hiccup!! Fuel trims are in check, added some timing to hold boost a little longer up top, ect... your def safe to run a E40 mix with the factory LPFP but expect different fuel trims/fuel delivery, ect...Ethanol needs more volume so eventually your going to have to get a Walbro 465LPH drop in. but I mix 8.5-9.0 gallons of E85 and about 3.5 gallons of 93. I always filled the car up this way for literally 3 whole years and again, not even a HPFP until about a month ago.... I changed the LPFP about 6 months ago to the walbro and tried to run 100% but I could never get it right at 100% E so I am runnin my old setup and with the new fuel pump in which does make a difference. Make sure you know what your doing when your doing this swap!!
