HDTV?
Question for those of you who has a newer model of a HDTV and Computer:
Did you guys have the overscan issue with a DVI/HDMI cable after you hook them up? and hows the quality of display on the TV (a movie from your computer) ? |

I am almost done with my new den and will be putting in a plasma tv and most likely using my pc with a bd player to hook up to it.
So although I don't have it installed yet, it should not be a problem as long as you have the output source set to the native resolution of the tv. If you are overscanning sounds like you do not have it synced right. Double check the TV native resolution like 1920x1080 or 1280x720. Just make sure it is set correctly. One other thing to check is what version the HDMI is on both tv and cpu. Hope this helps and good luck!

I think the quality of the picture from the mediecenter is much better then from the DVD.
I build it my self and used a MSI motherboard with build in HDMI port. No overscan - and why. The good thing is that its flexible. You can have more drives in for Blue Ray and HD. Blue Ray recorders for computers are not expensive.
