What happened to AE exhaust ?
just curious what happened to these guys. I might be picking up a 335 soon and want that exhaust.
Its honestly the best sounding exhaust for the N54 imo.

Autobahn Exotic (AE) was Paul Walker company in Orange County. Due to the tragic accident, they were bought by a different company. They kept the exhaust brand AE, but changed the name to Always Evolving. Both still can be found on the market if you look good enough. Might be hard sourcing a new Autobahn Exotic exhaust. Same build and materials on both systems though.
Autobahn Exotic have a shield around the AE Always Evolving have a circle around the AE

Actually, last we heard they weren't producing anymore, that was about a year ago. Unless something has changed as of recently, they've been discontinued.
Paul Walker was co-owner and since his death production ceased. |

Sad , at least I got mine from top gear solutions last summer . I didn't understand why they made so much random stuff though . Cage/ roll bar for m3's , exhaust for a few select cars and than they had a sponsored mustang race car on their page .

Yes, but I wouldn't do it to an AE. If you want straight pipes, grab a cheap M2 or ETS exhaust and try it. I had straight pipes for a year before getting my AE. I definitely prefer the toned and refined note.

No problem. If you want to see what it'll be like, take off the third section and drive around for a bit. I liked the drone, rasp, and excessive pops and gurgling, but it was too loud.

Yea as other have mentioned don't do that to AE exhaust. Unless you like throwing money away. You cant buy this exhaust new anymore so its a hard to come by this piece of work.

Actually this exhaust is made up in 3 sections. they are all very easy to remove. Anybody that has this exhaust can easily make a "Race" version out of it by just unbolting the last section removing the mufflers and custom fabbing piping and tips after that. This way you still have everything intact, I am actually thinking of doing this but adding v-band clamps for easy removal.

I have no gurggling noises, no pops and I want to sound like the N55 guys do. With my AE could I simply do what Island Road stated? I am happy with my exhaust until I hear my buddies N55. I have catless DP's, AE exhaust with no cats. N54 with AE muffler My buddy has catless DP's, stock exhaust with secondary cats removed, stock muffler, N55
