Hello guys, finally got a misfire after a good 12k miles which is how old my plugs are.
Cylinder 6 misfired on me on a cold start and again after work and continued to misfire until I restarted the car a few times. So I swapped the cyl#6 coil to cyl#2. I've been trying to replicate the problem for 2 days and but no misfires. I can even go WOT with no issues. So what's the deal? Did that coil just not like that specific cylinder? I was really expecting the misfire to follow or stay. Could it just be a fluke? Please share your experiences with me thanks Btw I'm FBO on stage 0 Cobb

Was your coil/plug loose? There's a slight possibility it wasn't tight enough. But honestly, if the car is running fine, why go looking for problems?

Probably leaking injectors if it's on cold starts.

Do a couple logs and see how this cylinder is reacting.
Same thing happened with me then misfire started happening again ( after 3 weeks) . I ended up changing all ignition coils

Ok so it misfired again on cyl 6, ruled out a coil. I checked the plug and realized the prongs were touching the electrodes. I don't think the dealership replaced this at all last time I went. Problem is now fixed.
