Back of seat gouged

So I was driving with my seats folded down with my new LSD in my trunk and had to slam on my brakes (after demolishing a Porsche gt3) - that broke the strap holding my diff and it rolled and hit my passenger seat gouging the plastic back of the seat, it seems like it can be removed but I doubt BMW sells that part by it self.

Anyone know?

I bought a set of the pre-LCI seatbacks with nets for my '11 when it was brand new, pretty sure from ECS. Not even particularly expensive.

What kind of "strap" were you using, a shoe lace?

Lucky it didn't make it trough to the front, and slam the shifter into park. LOL

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

My first BMW was a 5 series and the clips on a seat-back were messed up and it kept popping off. They replace the seat back and the car was @ 5 years old at the time (on CPO warranty).

Haha I had to pickup the diff at UPS and the box was too big to fit in my car... I had it held down with these large zip tie / wire tie things. Definitely not ideal but the gt3 was egging me on and I just couldn't resist.

The lsd was fine, I mean it was already installed in the pumpkin and just rolled around, the only thing I need now are new rear tires after breaking-in the LSD
