How many folks here are #1, 2 or 3 on the M2 wait list??
I am #1
They didn't even have a list when I insisted they start one almost a year ago. Now Just waiting to hear the news release & see the option sheet before I decide. The rumored black only leather seats may be a deal breaker in this brutal south Texas heat. May just go for it & make final decision upon arrival just to be sure. 50k plus ain't chump change. Tic-toc, tic-toc. Beginning to think only 2 or 3 will be allocated here when she finally drops. The good thing is this dealer never inflated the price of 1M, so it's likely they won't do it for this car either. Should know a lot more in a few short months....

I'm #3 at my dealership (no deposit required).
Now that we know the car will be built for 3 years, I don't think it'll be as limited as we originally thought, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. If we find out that these cars are pretty readily available, I'll most likely hold off towards end of 2017, early 2018. That way, I can keep my E36 M3 as well. I've been enjoying driving it way too much lately and would hate to see it go.

#1 at my dealer, eagerly awaiting to see it. I've told them I'll order it as I'd like but if Im not 100% pleased with it I'll get an M3 instead. Decision to be based on price and final details of the M2.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I've been pinging my local dealer about it and they claim they won't have lists until official info is revealed. Since I don't have a pre-existing relationship I don't want to badger them about it too often. Don't want them to jack the price on me.

I'm not going anywhere near an M2 for at least 6 months after they start making it, all it does putting a deposit down now is push the price up, I'm expecting to get a fair discout when I buy mine not pay over the odds

#1 at dealership.
I made the mistake with the 1M not getting on the list soon enough. Not making that mistake again. As a wise man once said: "I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee that says, 'Fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. Fool me... You can't get fooled again!'" -George W. Bush |
