BMW is leading the luxury sales race in 2015 by the slimmest of margins. Through the first three months of 2015, BMW has sold a total of 78,492 vehicles. For those keeping track, BMW is in first place by a total of just 336 vehicles sold over Mercedes and 1,312 over Lexus. BMW 3 Series BMW's best-selling model so far this year has been, as has been the case for as long as we can remember, the 3 Series. Sales of the BMW 3 Series are up 47 percent in 2015 versus the same time period a year ago, totaling 14,835 so far this year. In Order: 1 - BMW 2 - Mercedes-Benz 3 - Lexus 4 - Audi 5 - Acura 6 - Cadillac 7 - Infiniti 8 - Lincoln
