Simple- I was brought up playing classical music then went into neoclassical hair metal.

Never cared for hip hop...soooo sorry? Never saw the use for it beyond the 12 bar blues which most mainstream hip hop/rap of the modern day era don't bother using

Now a days, i wish I could write butt rock or any form of progressive rock and get paid for for it

I have to listen (and write) what sells. Loops, edm tracks, 4/4 pop rock melodies- however/ I keep to recording everything with real instrumentation to keep the sound authentic
