Larger tires for 361 20" wheels?

Greetings gang...
I have a set of BMW 361's with 225 35 R20 on the front and 255 30 R20 in the rear. These size tires limit my selection...could I go with a bit bigger tire to give me a little better ride. The run flats were ditched and the Sumitomos that are on there now need replacing. I believe widths are a 8 in the front and 8.5 in the rear. I'm not dropped nor do I have spacers AND this is on the 428 not my old 335.
Any help would be appreciated....

From what I've read:
- Could go up to 245's in the front
- 255's the max size for the rear

As 265's minimum wheel width is 9".

I agree.

Either 245/30-20 front and 255/30-20 rear or upsize to 245/35-20 front and 255/35-20 rear if it give you more options.
