I have a 340i on order for week 30 production and did not include ZDA. I've never had a back-up camera or PDC in any of my current or past cars and I'm debating whether or not, I should add the option.

Is ZDA really worth it?

I have it on both! To me it's well worth the $$. Also I'm leasing both of my cars and so it means about 8-9$ a month for ZDA

Well it's funny since here in Canada, they roll PDC and Rearview Camera into the Premium Package made up of the greatest hits - sunroof, alarm, comfort access, etc...

But it's always nice to have PDC and the Camera for parking.

I love the camera, it really makes parallel parking easier in a tight spot. I didn't think I needed PDC but it helps keep me from from hitting curbs and parking blocks when I park head in. It probably pays for itself over time in terms of reduced collision repair.

You won't regret it, especially if you do a lot of back end first parking. Also handy in parking lots. Should be -- will be -- standard in a couple years when the law kicks in.
