Please Help
The other night i was driving my car and after wot it just stopped and wouldn't go anywhere so i let off the gas and it was a little better but it was running extremely rough, especially when i would come to a stop. Finally, I decided to pull over and restart the car, which worked. it seemed to be running fine. The next day I started it and it was idling extremely rough again, so i restarted it, and once again it was fine. Then I opened the hood, and the only thing I saw was that my vacuum line to my bov was disconnected. So I removed the vacuum line from the intake manifold completely, and started the car, and this time I got the "service engine soon" light. So I replaced the vacuum lines, and everything seems to be fine but the light is still there. Any Ideas on what may be happening? Any input is appreciated since I really have no idea what's going on. Just got the car in January it has 58k miles.

Like E90 M335 stated get the codes checked. I'm think
Ing that torn hose caused your SES light to be triggered, it will eventually clear itself as it's obd 2 after several key cycles. Report back any other issues. |

It's been a while and the ses light is still on, mods include dci, jb4 g5, tial bov and vrsf charge pipe. As for codes, like I said I've only had the car for a short amount of time and I don't really know how to do that. I've searched before but I couldn't find anything helpful. Any Suggestions? Thanks for the feedback

Ok well I have the usb data cable but I don't have a laptop handy plus I have no idea how to use it, But if I read them right these are the codes that showed up on the dash: 29f3, 2a2d, 2aaf, 29dc. Not sure what I should do to fix whatever these mean, most of them seem to be fuel pump related. Any Ideas? Just to be clear the only mods are bms dci, vrsf chargepipe with tial bov, jb4, installed in that order. I usually only run map 1, a few weeks ago I ran some e85 on map 5 but my charge pipe kept blowing off so I just went back to map 1. |

I wouldn't worry about the 2AAF too much if it showed up alone (it's a shadow code) but when combined with the 29DC that usually means the fuel pump is on the way out.
But i'd defiantly check out the LPFP sensor first and go from there. 2A2D fuel low pressure system, fuel pressure 29F3 fuel pressure sensor, electrical 2AAF fuel pumpe, plausibility 29DC cylinder injection switch-off |
