VTT shop time for install

I'm trying to get an estimate of how much I will be paying for VTT inlets installed. Anyone have a general estimate for shop time?

I've heard it isn't easy... 6-8 hours or so?

that may even be conservative since you have to relocate a few things as I understand it

the fronts are cake. so you might aswell try and do the fronts yourself to save some money. the back is pain in the ass.

The VTT doesn't require relocating, you are thinking MMP

Thanks for the help guys. I'm going to knock out the front and see what the shop thinks about Doing the rear. No way it should go more than 4 hours.

do you have to remove the downpipe to install the front inlet? I was thinking about doing the front myself when I get them

No. For the front you just need to remove the fan which takes maybe 20 minutes. I also removed my oil cooler lines to get some more room to work but I don't think it's necessary. I was able to reach clamp on the front turbo from the top with many extensions. For the rear you will need to remove one or both DP's.

Garage List
3-4 hours seems reasonable for this kind of install although I can see less experienced shops booking an hour or two more.

Is removing downpipes the hard part of the rear?
