M2: The aggressive design of the sunken in headlight
The aggressive creases of the M2 headlight
So, from analyzing multiple pictures from different angles, I believe I have discovered how the design of the corner of the headlight will be executed. It will be sunken into the body work, like the M3/4, however, instead of the line extending beneath the headlight, the line from the corner of the headlight will extend into the bottom of the headlight. I found the perfect image here: I showed this to Artemis , and he did his magic negative work and uncovered an even clearer view: Here, the line is drawn over: Beneath the sunken in headlight will be a flat, yet protruding area, making the intakes look MASSIVE. It should be a very clean and super aggressive execution. Cheers |

"goosepimples" sounds like impetigo or something. I guess what you're hinting at, is that all the new cars will come with S. pyogenes-inoculated constrast stitching. That explains the seat covers in the M2 test mules.

In case you missed it in another thread: due to the size of the M2 front intakes, BMW M even moved the headlight washers closer to the head light cluster (indicated in red in the third small picture). And don't let the camo fool you. To my eyes, the triangular shaped camo inside the intake (indicated in red in the fourth small picture below) is merely a camo add-on that hides a slightly toned down V-shape intake design of the BMW Vision Concept GT6. I doubt that the high crease line showing the intake lines would be camo to mislead the onlookers. Yup, this car is gonna be applauded once the camo is taken off. Compare with the BMW Vision Concept GT6 (note: the hood design will be the modern one, i.e. a horizontal line that does no longer 'touch' the kidneys + BMW roundel no longer on the hood itself): Compare with the M235i Racing (lower position of the headlight washers, as the intake has a smaller size):

Well, now we know it has the "Cold Weather" option. I wonder if the back seat folds down and heated seats comes with that?
I hope so. Even strippers have to be somewhat civilized. Heated steering wheel? It can't weigh that much! |

hmmmmm....... I disagree, I think the camo triangle is legit. My guess is that the the strip of camo found above the triangle (and underneath the blue line above above the triangle), is hiding the non-functional, aesthetic parts of the upper half of intake.

My (much-loathed) disappointment about the seats aside, the potential aggressiveness of this aero kit is getting me really excited.
I have goose pimple.

I can already see the disappointment incoming for the teaser when people get what looks like pro testing footage with a camo'd car like the 1M. Will be awesome none the less but don't expect to see any new details on the car except maybe some more interior shots.
