Anyone running 275 rears on a 335 m-sport?

I have a 2014...considering a set of RE11s with 245 front and 275 rear, stock suspension (for now),

Any rubbing issues?

Any photos out there?

I saw a fitment spreadsheet somewhere here and multiple people have that set up. I'll be going with that as well soon. Thinking of 245-40-19 and 275-35-19

does a 2014 328i m-sport count? i don't know what the fender differences are between a 328 vs 335, but i'm running 275/30/19, and lowered pretty significantly (not slammed) ... but no rubbing at all.

And i could go down another inch or two without issues...

Ok, maybe only an inch...

Lowering the coilovers is a great idea, it will helps you to make your car more attractive.

you can run 245-30 and 275-30 with no rubbing issues, even with coils. Just get the correct offset and the right brand of tires and you will be good to go.

F30 with H&R Spring 245-35-20 & 275-30-20

F30 Suspension ? 245-30-20 & 275-30-20

F30 on Coilovers 245-30-20 & 275-30-20

So what are the correct Wheel size and offset ?? And looking at your pictures they all run pretty aggressive camber, no.

I know for the front a 8.5x19 ET35 with a 245/35R19 is perfect but in the rear a 9.5x19 ET40 with a 275/30R19 I think the wheel is too narrow and it makes the tire (in my case Continental DW) fat, I was going to buy another set of 19x10 ET45 and mount my 275/30R19 on it and see but I have to spend more $$$... That is why I am interested. I have a post with my new setup here

I am running Avant Garde M510 19Ã8.5 et35 in front, 19Ã9.5 et40 in the rear. Tires are 245/35 and 275/30. Stock 335i M-sport suspension (with DHP). Absolutely love the setup! I do not think it is too aggressive and is perfectly flush. Considering Dinan springs and Shockware software for the DHP.

The sizes are 20x9 +35 in the front and 20x10.5 +45 in the rear. No, the BMWs just run the natural camber they get from the drop. we run 245/30/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear with no rubbing issues.

I'm new to all of this so please excuse my noob questions. First of all what are coil overs? Second of all, I wanted wider tires for my 405m wheels, will the 245/30/20 and 275/30/20 setup work or should I stick to 225/35/20 and 255/35/20? Also, I wanted all seasons performance tires, since im getting rid of my pirelli pzero run flats. Would matching different brands be a bad idea? I was think of continental dws all seasons in the front since they come in 225/35/20 and michelin pilot sport as3s in the back, since they have a speed rating of Y where as the rear continentals have a speed rating of W, or the Y or W speed rating would not make a difference, since my f30 maxes out at 160mph. Thanks guys.

Just for comparative purposes, I'm running a 295/25/20 on 10.5 ET 45 wheel in the rear with H&R sport springs. The only time it has rubbed was with 3 adults in the back seat.

Hello guys, been looking around to purchase a set of tires for my 320d M Sport with Style 400M wheels.

Is it possible to use 275/35r18 for the rear wheels with the 400M? Any rubbing issue with it? Or would 275mm too wide to fit on a 8.5JJ rims?
I'm asking this because the tyres I'm looking to purchase are Michelin Pilot Sport 3 but they don't have the stock size 255/40/r18 and I would like to keep the 400M.

Any other options do I have? Well downsizing the rear tyre works but that's not really recommended is it. And I love 400M so I'm not about to change the wheels.

Recommended wheel width for 275/35-18 is 9.5", 9-11" as alternatives. I wouldn't fit a 275 tire on a 8.5" wheel, but it might be possible.

Pilot Super Sport are available in 255/40-18 as another option.

Thanks, I will probably go for the PSS for my F30

Then PS3 for the used E46 330i with the stock 17inch stagger wheel I just booked few days ago.

No need. The car doesn't have enough power to necessitate anything wider than a good 255 width tire. In fact, most people recommend a 245 square setup for performance. 275 is just extra weight that isn't really utilized.

Square setup eh, hmm I was actually recommended a 225/45r18 square setup by a tyre shop lol. But I thought that will induce oversteering more easily.

Anyway, I think the best is still keeping the diameter same or at least as close as possible, what are the sizes that I can go for and will not screw up the speedometer big time?

The Sportline 335i uses a square 225/45/18 I believe.

You have a few options. This is not an exclusive list:

235/45/18 - slightly larger
245/40/18 - slightly smaller

I don't think either will screw you your speedometer big time. As far as cost, 235/45/18 seems a bit more expensive.
