Land In Jamaica
I have had land in Jamaica in my family for over 50 years and nothing has been done with it.
I just wanted to put it out there in the universe that if anyone is interested please let me know. Also looking for suggestions of what would be an affordable use or investment I could do with this land. 9 Acres in Boscobel are mine which is apart of a grand total of 81 Acres of land Called Murray Hill. Located near Boscobel International Airport and Resort as well as being 15 minutes from Ochos Rios. Last edited by DJKapeesh; 09-03-2015 at 01:27 PM.. |

You THINK it's empty, but I have it on good authority that there are 17 shanty-shacks with the corrugated metal that blew up during the last hurricane. And about 12 feet of the first row of a block wall, with another 17 feet of rebar stuck in the ground.

Tariffs, taxes, and blockades have me worried as well as protecting the product from theft ect. I feel there is a market emerging here. |

Depending on what you'd like to do with it, I might have folks interested in the property. 8 acre's is fairly well sized for a Hotel or commercial real estate operation.
In terms of using the land itself, you can certainly grow sugar, banana's, coconuts, and other assundrious things there, but 8 acre's won't be enough to make any real cash on. If you wanted to go that route, i'd lease the land to a local grower instead of trying to do anything yourself.

Edit: Not to mention there is a total of 81 acres available to the right buyer or developer. |

I would build a nice 6 star resort, similar to the ones on Bali!!!!! All wood cabanas with all the amenities to have a nice weekend with your love one.

But as an asset, if you can establish that the area has infastructure to build something tourists will use, you can make a case that the land has sufficient value to someone else, who wil build on it.
