Opinions for upgraded Turbos...

Hello, i might be needing new turbos soon, so i want to ask some things about rb turbos or other brands..
1)I heard some people were disappointed about oil consuption from the rb turbos and a lot of smoke. Are these problems solved with the new products?
2)Should i consider the rb turbos with new internals(more expensive) or the classic ones?
3)How many miles do you have in your car with rb turbos? Any other problems?
4)I have procede rev3 with fbo and autotuning maps. With rb how many hp will i make out on 97 oct gas without meth?

The same question for other brands pls (vargas, etc.)

Seems that there is a lot of talk about RB' smoking, making me wary as i'm the beginning stages of choosing also. There are other options like, Hexon, Vargas, Pure is coming supposedly and others.

Do we know any feedback from users for Vargas or hexon. How many miles on them without problems?

Vargas and RB have both had some issues on these boards in the past. Id say Vargas more than RB. Hexon is newer so not a lot of feedback. Pure has a proven reputation on other platforms. That's how I see it at least having been following closely since '07. If I needed new twins Id still feel pretty good about going with rb. I think there's some tiny amount of risk no matter where you go though, but I would feel most secure going with pure.

they had are r500 previously, they do everything inhouse so you don't have issues with bad turbo batches...

you can talk to the owner on hexon facebook... and PM wedge more info he sell them...

first figure out your power goals... i think the hexon will do 600 rwhp max...
if you ask me 500 rwhp is already sick...

So doing work "in house" means there won't be issues? Or just less likelihood of issues? Why would this be the case?

Ever play the game Broken Telephone? It's kinda like that. The positives and negatives of subbing out work is pretty obvious.
