Using Cargo Net w/Trunk Tray?
Is it possible at all to use the cargo net with the trunk tray? It seems that the tray covers all the hooks except for 2 of them, was wondering if anyone of the forum has though of a clever way to attach their own hooks and put the nets to use.

Really the only way to do it is to find some short cords with hooks to attach to the hooks on the net and the floor board to give you more length to go under the tray. May be hard to find the right length to keep it taught enough to hold everything down. Guess you could buy long and make cuts and knots to make them the required length.

The trunk tray for my 328i wagon has places to cut out for the floor hooks to go through. As long as you don't plan to spill large quantities of water, no reason you couldn't do this for the 2 as well, even if the tray is not pre-marked for the cuts.
