If you search the are lots of threads about octane boosters. To summarize: They work, they turn plugs red, you get similar results with a gallon or two of e85, you won't notice much if you are on the stock tune, some people worry about mmt.

Thanks i have a single turbo with MHD flash and JB4. Trying to figure out my best options.

just run a little e85 if you want to get to 93.. Its about 2.5 gallons per tank of 91 if you were empty, there are calculators online to help you. e85 is also cheaper than regular gas, and a lot cheaper than octane boosters that are questionable if they actually work; they cannot raise your octane very much (maybe by a small fraction), and sometimes can have opposite effects. Not worth it at all IMO

Very little E85 cleans up timing on your everyday 18+lbs boost street car from what i can see. Agreed, 2 gallons added to 92/93 gets me no timing corrections at 10 degrees and 18+psi. Above this, a little more E as you add timing and boost.
