Incredibly slow times loading threads

Everytime I load a thread, the first post shows up, then it says CONNECTING at the bottom, and it takes 30 seconds to load the page?

Try restarting your browser and or pc. Also make sure your browser is up to date.

I work in Information technology, neither one of those is the issue.

Surface Pro 3 on Windows 8. Both IE and chrome do it. The first post loads, then there's a HUGE delay before the thread loads.

Im in IT too.. No issues here.. I can access site and threads without any delay on my Iphone, work PC on company network, and work PC connected to directly to Cable internet..
