need ideas - cracked vacuum pump fitting

I have a hairline crack in the plastic nipple on the vac pump and it is causing all sorts of problems. I've tried wrapping it with that self fusing silicone tape and putting a hose clamp on it, but the repair only lasts for 20 minutes before it starts leaking again. it looks like it's serviceable but I have not been able to find it. looks like you have to buy a whole pump.

anyone have this issue before? if so, howd you fix it?

thanks!

Best bet would be to use some expoy on the crack in short of buying a new pump

you are probably right. I was just thinking about using a little bit of fiberglass to wrap around it and the epoxy to seal. good idea thank you!
