Bluetooth question

My car is a 2009 328i xDrive without the iDrive. I do not have the Bluetooth option either which is unfortunate. I bought a Kinivo I believe it's called and it works well but I was wondering is there something else that I can use that will allow me to use the steering wheel controls to change the song? For example do the ones that use the usb and aux allow you to do this? Thanks!

If you have the BMW usb option 6fl
there are some aftermarket things that work.

Look at the Dension gateway 500 s bt
That will give you phone and and bluetooth streaming plus another
usb and aux port.
There is the wma 3000 for streaming bluetooth.

But the WMA one will only do Bluetooth streaming is that what your saying? Not allowing control of the phone through the radio?

It auto switches, so you can control both the ipod and phone while connected to both at the same time.

Yes but you have to have the phone in the first place.
I think the OP mentioned he didn't.

Well I think that is what he meant by no bluetooth.

So the Dension is a total solution for the phoneless.
