Thinking about making a return...
Last year I sold my 2010 e92 335i xdrive (mods are in my sig). I loved the car but got rid of it because I fell into a Cayenne S with the death of a family member. At the time I thought it was the right move as I was growing a bit tired of the rough ride during my daily commute (NY roads suck). I now am thinking about making a move to Florida and back into a sporty car. I've been following the m235i for the past year. Love it's looks, sound, and potential. I love awd so I would go for it even though I wouldn't need it in the south. So my next question is what am I looking at for FBO m235i xdrive 1/4 mile, 0-60 times etc. Also I experimented with e85 and loved it. Anyone with an FBO m235i xdrive, I'd like to hear from you what you think and your overall impressions. Thanks!

I have the rwd and its amazing. I just picked it up a few months ago.
I have seen a few time slips on the forum here. And it seems like fbo will get you into the mid 12s |

Check out this thread. If the link doesn't work it's in the engine tuning forum near the top. Called something like 1/4 bracket racer. |

Highly suggest that you take a hard look at what the M Performance LSD adds to an M235i. I did and can attest that you will not go wrong with the added mechanical advantages of the LSD option minus the additional maintenance of an AWD model.
For starters check out this blog from 2014: http://www.bmwblog.com/2014/07/15/bm...nce-parts-lsd/ An E85 also is a great car from zipping around Florida with the added feature of top down, almost year-around driving. Ask me how I know? I have all. Two sports coupe (M Perf LSD optioned and a Quattro). Plus I've owned my E85 since new.

LSD is a must for a M235i. I believe it'll help with the snow also. So going AWD is not the only option for you. Haven't tried it yet on how it'll do in snow, but we'll see this winter if we get hit with El Nino.

That's what I'm doing on my low optioned m235. LSD as well as the M performance interior. Oh yes, I added the Cold Package for Iowa winters.
