Xbox One or PS4?
Looking to rekindle with an old hobby. Haven't had time for video games in years and probably still don't. Looking to get a new toy to mess around with I guess.
I've been a loyal Sony Playstation user since day one. The main games I've played are Madden, Fifa and Gran Turismo.. I've had people rave about Xbox One trying to sell me on Forza and the online gaming capability. I've read countless reviews online.. Figured I'd give the forums a shot lol.. Xbox One or PS4 and why? Thanks for the feedback. BIGGER QUESTION GRAN TURISMO OR FORZA... NEVER OWNED FORZA. NEVER PLAYED IT. PLAYED EVER SINGLE GT GAME AND LOVE IT. HEARD FORZA IS BETTER. WHAT GIVES. I had 3 xbox 360's. While the servers were great, customer service is terrible and they treat you like crap, God help you if you put in a credit card for live onece because they will try anything to keep you on the auto-renew. The consoles also froze a lot mid game. The final straw was when I got banned for 1 month for "attempting to play with cheaters" on GTA when all I did was play in lobbies with random people online. Sold all my xbox stuff on ebay and bought a ps4 couldn't be happier. Honestly forza was really good and I think gran turismo will be good too I'll find out soom enough.

I have both.
Love Forza, I actually play online with people I met at the Nurburgring... Been playing Forza for a while, I loved the cordless wheel for the 360 - as I can't imagine having a gaming rig in my living room (I am not that committed). I bought this to connect the XBOX 360 wheel to the XBOX One, works pretty well with some futzing around. Gran Turismo is routinely delayed, and I find the PS4 controller not the greatest for me. +1 for not giving your credit card to Microsquish, they are going to try everything to bang it as much as they can. My bank has a thing called ShopSafe, I love it, you can generate a number good for $X in charges that is only good for Y months where Y > 2 months. The PS4 is a great machine, I like the fact the HD is easily user changeable, and the interface is a little less cluttered, but no Forza. B. |

PS4 gets my Vote.
Yeah Xbox has Forza.... but you have a M3... get out and drive!! PS4 to me is a better system, games that interest me more and I prefer the controller to the xbox controller. But I have owned each model of the PlayStation since they came out.. so may be a bit biased. Just ordered a PS4 Uncharted bundle actually but in doing so had to buy my wife a Wii U Mario 8 bundle.. she loves Mario kart... lol. at 299 each I thought it was a good time to pull the trigger. Good luck In your decision.

Got my kid a PS4 last month. We have family games we play. Tons of fun.
I have my own games I play now, and so is my wife. My kid is currently playing Lego Marvel Superheroes as I type. |

Personally, I've always felt that the PS4 is for more "gamers" that enjoy playing ALL games even for a bit just to try then move on.
X1 for me is the multiplayer. I hardly ever play the story/campaign for anything get jump into the online fight. IMO, Halo set the bar for online competitive multiplayer and thats why I got a X1. Sure the graphics look like shit but that's not why I play it. I play for the competitiveness that it brings. On the PS4 side, I think the amount of games and selection is absolutely superior to X1 so for those who enjoy lots and everything..PS4 ftw. |

I have both. I have more games on the PS4. I would look at what exclusives are available and upcoming to decide on which console you want. A lot of games are cross platform, so you won't miss much except for the exclusives.
