It would've been nice it there was some narration to the video, but nonetheless very impressive.

Awesome video, thanks for posting.
My dad had one back in the day and I remember him enjoying it very much. True classic... |

I remember the first 2002 Tii reproduction BMW did... It was back when the old museum closed down for construction of the new Museum(2004ish) and construction of the Welt. BMW had some temporary container buildings on site, where you could see a few BMW's from the museum's collection. Then they had some guys inside of a glass window'd box - recreating a 2002. I think it took them a year to do it! Really cool.

Loved the video.
The CPI inflation index indicates $4250 in 1972 dollars is the equivalent of $24,182 today. So if BMW Restoration would care to run off a few dozen 2002Tii's for $29k (with a 20% gratuity), I'll take 'em all. |

Yes, BMW still sells most of the parts for older models. You can order them thru any dealership(they just might not know they can!). It's handled by BMW Classic.

Good video and you have to respect the craftsmanship, but it gives me the chills. My '74 2002 Tii (Fiord Blue/tan) was the worst car I ever had, and I've had a lot of cars. Good riddance.

But seriously... I bet its gotta be close to six figures. Take a look at these unrestored e9 prices... some are around 50K euros! http://kleinanzeige.focus.de/autos/b...cs-kaufen.html http://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-autos/bmw-cs/k0c216 http://suchen.mobile.de/auto/bmw-oldtimer.html

HA HA! I had a chuckle at this as a friend with a Golf green had some similar comments... SO VERY rare to hear anyone make an honest comment like this
