Car in Production for over 1 month??

I thought from the day Production begins its about a week to complete?

Today the 1-800 status changed to:

"Your car is in production with a scheduled completion date of Jan 11th, 2016."

Status 150 for over 1 month??

Both the web site and the phone are messed up. Mine says in transit and I can pick it up as early as tomorrow. 3 days ago it was reporting waiting a boat in Germany. Mahr web site still says it is being built.

Not sure why this is so hard. It's pathetic, actually.

It isnt that hard especially since they use SAP.

My car is currently tracking through the Phone system without any issue.

Well, system weekend update is complete, phone is still saying "In Production, estimated completion of Jan 11th." Something doesn't sound right to me.... I thought I read on these forums from entering to exiting production = 1 week?

I would call back and talk to an actual person or have your CA do the work for you.

If you have your VIN, punch in the last 7 characters of your VIN in the link below and see if it gives you a production date. If it still says 0001-01-01 then it's not completed production yet. Most likely, it's currently in the planned for production or it's in the midst of production. I don't think you'll get any additional detail even from your CA than that...

I know how waiting sucks but you can't do much about it from here

What model and options did you order? What factory is building your vehicle? Production delays can occur if your vehicle is waiting for parts, i.e. due to a temporary shortage of certain wheels as an example. This happened before and gets resolved within a reasonable time frame.

Mine has been "in Production" since November 29th.. No updates even when speaking to a representative.. Can't check the status online either.. it's ridiculous.. If it were ferrari/bugatti/lambo.. They would def not have these issues.. They still shouldn't with 35k + cars..
