Question about the 29F3 Fuel pressure sensor Electrical
Hear me out please. I just fixed my trifecta (DSC,ABS/ Yellow brake) light today after being broke for 7 months. Yeah I know.. no excuses...
After those 3 lights cleared my SES light remained so I pulled the codes through INPA. I thought I finally fixed my car but I guess it had another issue. I got 29F3 Fuel Pressure Sensor electrical & 2D33 Absolute Pressure Sensor, Intake Pipe: Signal So I found a lot of very helpful thread about the 29F3 issue. After reading the thread, it seems my low pressure sensor hpa value is stuck at 6700ish. It sounds like I need to simply change out the full pressure sensor. However I don't know the nature of the 2d33 sensor. I don't know if it's happening because of the 29F3 or is the 29F3 sensor becaused caused by the 2D33... See my dilmena. Please advise |

Additional pics added
Here's a picture of the fuel low pressure sensor stuck at 6501 hPa when it should be around 5000. Also here are the two codes I pull up.
The sensor probably needs replacing but I still want to know what's causing the other issue (2D33) before I throw money at it. Sorry pics were to BIG |

In my case, I first started getting a P2AAF code and then eventually the sensor kept reading high (around 90 psi). A couple weeks later, I got a P29F3. Replaced the sensor with a bmw one and now both codes are gone and lpfp reads 72psi like normal.
