Car Broken Into
Left my car parked outside my apartment building for a few hours in the evening.
Came back to a broken window. Nothing to steal in the car, no gps, no ipod. My bluetooth headset was inside, but not stolen. Oddly, my rear cupholder/armrest was lifted up. No noticeable damage to the trim yet. For the Montreal folks this is right in front of Alexis Nihon (Maisonneuve and Atwater) Insurance isn't covering it because my deductible is a 1000... Bad way to end spring break... |

That sucks! Get the M-tech bumper!!
Yeah I know that has nothing to do with it, but whenever someone has damage to their car, someone always posts something along the lines of getting an M-Tech bumper to replace it.

I believe the MTech bumper can only be installed on cars that have the original factory installed windows.

Yeah, and besides, the car will never run the same without the original factory windows. You really want all your windows to have the same amount of wear on them.

How come ur deductible is $1000? Ask ur insurance if they have seprate deductibles, one for accidents and one for Vandalisim. BTW some insurance doesn't let u pay deductible for vandalism (got that info from a policeman). GL |

To the OP: Sucks it happened and that you are left with the bill. Make sure you get it fixed right and you will forget about it pretty soon.

Just cover it up with a black trash bag and some tape, what's the big deal?
At least, that's what the '85 civics do around here.. instant 0% custom tints!! jk.. sorry that happened. At least they didn't cause damage to the lock/door by trying to break in that way. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm wondering if that would've been cheaper to replace
