Long Island NY looking to get some snow this weekend.

Every channel and every report says something different.

Snow blower Is filled and ready to go, generator is connected and ready to go, Netflix has tons of movies ready to go and the fridge is stocked with junk food and booze. I guess I'm ready to go too.

Of course it has to come on a weekend and not during the week and it has to come 2 days before I'm set to leave for Jamaica. Hopefully I get out of here Monday morning.

I hate the winter and I hate the snow. We've been lucky so far this winter with some good weather but getting a massive blizzard is never something to look forward to.

Had a power blip already. Not enough to trigger my generator though. We'll see how things go and the worst of the storm hasn't even hit yet.

The only thing I don't have is a snow blower. I bet if I bought the snow blower there wouldn't be any snow this Winter season.

Just woke up. Wind is blowing hard but power is still on. Now that I want it to go off so I can test out my new generator we won't loose power.

Wind is blowing snow so half the road is clear the other half is covered.

Haven't stepped outside yet but it looks pretty nasty out there. Another 15 hours of this.

I'm having coffee and continuously checking flights on JetBlue to make sure I get out of here Monday morning.

A second portion of my tree out front is now laying on the yard from all the ice. About half of it was taken down during a storm in July..., poor guy.

Thankfully the tree next to the driveway didn't fall on the car...., yet at least.

Good luck man. Had a tree from my neighbors yard crash through our fence and deck last year. Made that fat lazy bastard and his useless wife pay for the damage though.

Some of us can still be affected in FL. When it started to get cold and snow in New England last year my dad decided to drive down to FL ... and ended up staying with us for 2+ months when we were expecting two weeks.

What a day so far. My son practiced with the University of Miami baseball team and had lunch with them. Now about to get ready for his regular practice in this upper 60's weather. Life is rough

Yessir. I couldn't help but think how my northeastern friends are doing when I was out on the field helping my son's coach as we were short on players for practice. I miss the great driving roads NYS has to offer and the foliage but not the snow.
