horse power
whats the deal? I see dyno's that say the horse power is around 200 - 215
On their website it says it is 230. Im just wondering what the story is.  |

the 06 325 is only supposed to have 215
they upped it to 230-ish for the 328's

they (all) rated hp at the crank. Dyno is at the wheels. usually around 10-15% less. this is normal for ALL brands.
on the 335i, BMW cheated on this one(to help the M3 sales). they almost get the full 300hp on dyno |

Yeah, you have to factor in the drivetrain loss of ~15% when you are looking at whp. The factory rates hp at the crank.
