Total Noob Question
Currently are all 228i models RWD/AWD? is there a FWD version on the market for the 2016 variants of the 228i?

I really don't get the angst about FWD BMWs.
Obviously, BMW knows how to make great driving FWD cars, as they make the MINI. Which are great to drive, but have terrible silly interiors and are compromised by all having to look like crazily overinflated versions of the '50s original. I would be quite interested in a proper, *small* BMW car that is FWD and looks like a BMW inside and out. I actually really like the Active Tourer, having seen a few in Europe last summer. Looks great in person, drives nicely per various reviews. Why should you have to drive a penalty box to haul people around?
