BTW, if I were you I would black out the VIN number in your post. Especially if you are hoping for early delivery...would hate to see someone call your dealer and say it can't be sold, or for BMW North America to see it and block delivery.

I was just thinking the same thing.
I Refuse to believe it will sit there until April 16th. It makes NO sense that they would build and ship hundreds of cars to have them sit in a parking lot in Baltimore or wherever. After all, that space would cost money. Why not keep them secure at BMW & save some euros. |

I called this. I actually discussed it with my sales advisor and we spoke of the government being in absolutely no rush (especially with it being a new model) to get around to this. It's unfortunate.
