What e90 hi-bimmed me in NoVA?

So I was driving on Carlin Spring Rd in Arlington going south last night and there was an e90 going the opposite direction waiting to turn left unto George Mason Drive and he/she flashed me the high beams as I was passing.

Who were you? I know we have a ton of NoVA members here...

It was probably a menber of the National Capital Chapter of the BMW <space>CCA. Some of the members go back to the time when BMWs were relatively rare and they all flashed each other greetings.

haha, BMWE90 is from San Jose.

I would never high beam people. Your just looking to start some crap if you do. If people high beam me on the road, I don't expect it to be friendly high beams.

I high beem motorists if they are driving into a speed trap?
Isn't that the universal high beem symbol, warning of impending cop?
The only other reason i would is if the other person is blinding me
with their high beems, give them just a quick flash to turn them off.
