Well, for starters, he said a G35 smoked a 335i. Maybe it's not me after all.

But let's let him speak in his own words:

"I've been in 335 and raced E46 M3s and G35S and etc and it lost to all of them in stock form. Its not slow... its just not as fast as people make it out to be. manf specs are hardly accurate in the real world."

I didn't see that post since I only read his first post but saying all those guys are idiots seems a little ignorant doesn't it? And who cares what they say about the 335i, as long as you like it, there's no problem.

FWIW, they do seem to have as many intelligent owners as there are noobs. Same with any forum, even this one. Cant tear them apart for the thoughts of a few people.

I guess its more of a brand loyalty thing, everyone would love to say that their car drives better or faster than competitive brands ya. Also it depends on the driver as well, better drivers who have better understanding of their cars would make their cars perform better, etc....so don be too offended by their forum ya. Be cool and we are all frens, we could organise a Merc and Bimmer meetup ya for frens sake. haha

but without knowing gearing/weight that info isn't too relevant for this discussion. im guessing it's a driver's race though.
