M2 rear windows

Has anyone seen images of the interior driver side door?

I'm curious if the side rear windows will open similar to the E46 M3.

The quarter windows? They don't open in the coupe 2er, but they do in the convertible.

Not looking for them to roll down, but pop out via small hydraulic.

I looked hard for this too, like that in the E46, but sorry to confirm, rear windows are fixed, no open option.

Not only was it a cool visual cue that made the e46 unique but it was purposely designed by engineers for wind boom. With those open the air would flow through and no boom would occur inside the car. My wife's 228 does this I wish the rear windows would open.

The e92 M3 has very little wind buffetting, hopefully the M2 is the same.

Exactly where the thought is stemming from! I want to be able to cruise at 140 with the windows down at Road America!

Ahh well! A small sacrifice for an incredible piece of German manufacturing!

Not sure about " unique"

The E30 M3 has pop out windows 88-89.

The euro E36 version had motorized pop out windows.

Haven't noticed any issues in the 1M at 145mph.

I had a 91 E30 M3 with fixed rear windows and didn't notice either .. : course it maxes about 15-20 mph slower on most tracks.

It would be interesting if this was another option offered to European and Canadian markets, but not the US. Kind of has the same stigma surrounding it as the moonroofs.
