My Chinese carbon spoiler arrived...wow
BMW can suck it with their carbon accessories pricing. $197 shipped from China, took less than two weeks to get here. Not a flaw on it. Even the weave is straight around the bends.

Holla back after you see how precise the fit is.

All the knock off stuff I've bought was pretty good in terms of the weave, but absolutely didn't not fit on the car. And when they did, it was nowhere near as good as OEM. And this is not to mention that the finish goes to crap after a year (flaking). I'm all for not paying M taxes were possible, but I've been bit in the ass way too many times.

And the ones my friends got started bowing upwards after a year, so now there's a huge gap to the trunk at the sides. Personally, on a piece that is somewhere you can't miss, I'd stick with M-Performance. On things like diffuser where the fit doesn't have to be quite 100%, I'd be ok with rep parts.

I want to purchase a aftermarket front full lower lip.
This is something for sure I will go cheap on. I do not even want it CF. No way I'm gonna pay alot of money for something that is the easiest to scrape and scratch going up/down driverways.

As much as I want to buy chinese parts due to price they just have far to many issues. 1 out of every 20 seems to be okay for fitment and nearly all yellow since they use cheap hardener when making the carbon fiber pieces.
Even the aftermarket guys in the US dont get it right all the time but they have better customer service, better quality and better fitment. Go with OEM or US/Euro aftermarket

Poly is the way to go with these front lips. They are flexible enough that when you'll inevitably scrap, it doesn't crap. CF is not only too expensive to risk (IMO), but also too stiff so you're bound to destroy one sooner than later.

I have seen plenty of defects including bubbly looking spots on the cf spoilers for the 2 series with the OEM BMW ones so I am not impressed with those. I don't care who it comes from as long as there is quality.

All the aftermarket stuff isn't OEM precise fitment. It maybe pretty good but not perfect. Had to learn this the hard way with a mode carbon spoiler. The edges lifted up and didn't sit flush like an authentic M performance spoiler. The mirror caps you got for $85 are likely stick on covers instead of direct replacements like OEM.

I'm wondering if it's the same that ECS offers (https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-F22-M2...ler/ES2855588/) I used ECS to get parts for my Mk6 GTI does anybody know if the spoiler from them is good? They also have the CF Mirror Covers.
