Oil leak at CCV Vent Hose connection

When I took the engine cover of our 2007 335i I noticed there was some oil between number 5 and 6 sparks plugs in one of the recesses. Tracing it back it's actually coming from where the crank case vent hose plugs into the valve cover gasket. It may be the o- ring is not sealing properly any longer.

I'm guessing the best course of action is just to order a new CCV hose assembly -they are under $40.00 but figured I'd post this to see if there is a better solution first. I already have the BMS OCC on the car. Anyone know if this is common?
