installed my V2 yesterday, minor issues
I had my tuning company install my Procede V2 yesterday, but there was a mino mis hap. They forgot to install the USB serial cable I have that allows me to program my Procede with the computer, and I bought the PRocede used that should already have the latest map on it. When I first pulled out leaving the shop my car was really fast I felt the torque and extra hosepower and I kept losing traction flooring it in first gear to feel the power.
an hour later I run into a friend who has a Cross fire SRT 6 who's speed is a little slower than my car stock, so I wanted to use him as basis of comparison to my stock 335i, now I don't have these feel of torque and Horsepower gain, and this guy is actually pulling on me like I lost horsepower and Torque. Has anybody has this issue? All i need to do is reporgram my ECU right? But why does my car have power in the beginning when I turn on my car and as I cruise along I lose power. Confusion

You have the cable. You can still update the procede. It just won't be as easy as if the cable was routed into the interior. You don't know what the UT tables are set at otherwise. The guy could have them set up for racegas or something.

thanks for the feedback guys, I actually spent some time working with the Procede myself today. I opened up the ECU hooked in a USB cable i purchased and the procede is powered and running. I just need to configure it to the vehicle, the issue is that Vishnu's site is acting weird, the forum is not working so I cannot get ahold of any of the new maps and firmware. Also I cannot get the V2 user software. Does anybody have information on where I can get the software? or shud i just wait it out?
Thanks Btw retrodrive your gay

I would install the bypass plugs for now, you dont want that thing turning on and off constantly, you could burn out the internal hardware...

I think the tuners did not do the power tap right, I am gonna just leave the car in the garage and install bypass plugs that was recommended earlier till I fix this issue.

we fixed the issue with the procede turning on and off, but I created a new problem that I think I fixed today. I started my car this morning and it seemed that the battery was low/dead. Jump started it and then redid the wiring on the V1+2 again.
Is the V1 and V2 supposed to be on the ignition power? is the Procede supposed to be off when the car isnt on ignition? How long does it take for the procede to kick in full affect? thanks

The wire that was on the procede installed by Harman was dull, so I had to replace it, that was the first issue. THen i wired in the V2 wrong so it sucked off the battery because it never turned off, but now I think I got it right...

So have you logged any runs and update maps yet or do you still need a hand with working the procede user software? |
