Where to get a MAF sensor for a responsible cost?
As the title says, I need a MAF sensor. I called Parts source and they want $790 .. I don't think BMW charges that much haha.
I see some no name on ebay but I'm iffy on getting one...anyone have any opinions or experiences on this? A bit more reading, people are saying that the MAF sensor rarely dies and could be something else... here are my codes Air-mass system Code: 002D06 Fuel mixture control 2 Code: 0029E1 Fuel mixture control Code: 0029E0 EDIT: Car runs great, doesn't stall... maybe I'm just being a bit crazy and should wait longer to see what happens B Last edited by KiX1911; 04-22-2016 at 02:05 PM.. autopartsway.ca has VDO MAF sensors for around $400 which is comparable to the price from ECS when you factor in shipping and duties.

Shot in the dark, but did you try the BMW dealer yet? At least then you have a base, and can go from there. Maybe it's reasonably priced, but I doubt it.

A bit of an update....I took the MAF sensor out and cleaned it with CRC MAF sensor cleaner and put it back. I cleared the codes and drive around...no codes yet... This could be an option for you adriang ...you have nothing to loose.. B |
