BMW Driving Experience - Namibia

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Has anyone participated in the BMW Driving Experience in Namibia?

Details: http://www.bmw-drivingexperience.com...iday-tour.html
  • 7 overnight stays with full board in
  • single or double room
  • in selected accommodation
  • Practical driving exercises and tours
  • in a BMW X5, including fuel
  • Local transfer to the airport
  • Team support (German and English speaking)
  • Activities programme
  • including regional highlights
  • Participant insurance and security note

There was a Carfection video posted the other day on it, and it looked like it would make for an exciting and unique vacation. For 4600EUR full board it's not a bad deal either.

E: In case anyone is wondering, here is the video:

I read the title and thought this was a joke.

Unfortunately the online booking form is not available from 03.05.16 to 12.05.16, as we are carrying out maintenance work on our system.
Now that is a joke.

European way of stating dates. So it's offline from May 3rd to the 12th, not March till Dec. LOL

This looks really great. I'm curious though if you have to pay the full price for each person if my wife was just a passenger?

Very interesting video!

I am wondering how many gallons of diesel they carry through the journey.

What a joke, doesn't the X5 owner's manual say "Do not drive on un-paved terrain?"

If you want an suv with real off road prowess, get a RR, jeep, or yota.

Track experience with a BMW, OK.

Off-road experience ? Better go with a Land Rover

Because in case of trouble while off-roading, you need a Land Rover (or a Land Cruiser)

Exactly

BMW in no way should be used as a serious off road vehicle.
