Insects/Animals found in your food

The other day I stopped by Chipotle to pick up a chicken bowl for lunch. When I was about to take my first bite I noticed the little fella below staring back at me. It wasn't too big, a couple centimeters at most. It didn't really bother me so I just took the piece of lettuce it was on and set it aside and went on eating the rest of my bowl. I figure I've eaten a bunch of insects in my food over the years without even noticing, what's one little worm? My co-workers, on the other hand, thought it was pretty gross and couldn't even finish their food. After I finished, I called Chipotle and let them know what happened. The manager told me to come back any time to get a refund and a free bowl on them.

What type of insects/animals have you guys found in your food? And what did you do about it?

I wonder if it came from the undercooked meats they are famous for.

Never mind, won't open up that can of worms, either.

Don't know if it's true, but the manager told me they're no longer washing and cutting their own lettuce. It's all pre-packaged and pre-cut. She blamed it on the company they get the lettuce from.

Extra protein, no change. Win!!

Don't know, don't care. I eat my chicken bowl too fast to see if there is anything living in it. lol

I'd buy this, i noticed a drastic difference in their lettuce at one point not too long ago and it's never got back to the way it was.

They used to have dark green leafy romaine. Now it's all light green to white and pisses me off. We should start a petition to get the old critter free lettuce back!

Dude, you're on a roll. Finding stuff in your food is a real PITA. OK, I'm out. That's a wrap.

Yeah, I agree with this, too. It's a shame when they can't even keep up with themselves, anymore. I've definitely noticed the quality of food suffer because of it. Hence why I much more-so prefer Qdoba these days.

I've only noticed a change in lettuce. Everything else has stayed on par or better in my opinion.

Is that what YOU found in your lunch then?

I normally eat any critters under about 1" in my food. Don't google what the FDA allows. . .

Dude there aren't enough people that live in Ohio for Chipotle to suck.

DC/MD/VA area is overrun with watered down ratchetness.
