holy shit! thats really horrible. my condolences to everyone involved.

insurance companies must be bitching right now, hospitals must be packed, police/fire control probably are stressed the fuck out...

this is just another unnecessary stress in a world of chaos.

There was a total of 60 cars and 350 people were injured?
that slightly more than 5 people per car.....

how does that make any sense?

then again nothing much in that part of the world makes sense i guess

Those are some crazy pictures. That is pretty amazing to see the casualty rate so low in such a large pileup with the amount of damage to some of those vehicles.

if they couldnt see their own finger in front of their own face then they should have not driven. even if it was fog there is no speed limits over there. i bet they were all drifting in the fog and one of them just couldnt take the pressure.

My friend lives in Dubai and apparently this isn't an entirely rare event..at least the fog part. A while back there was a 70 car pile-up due to the fog. She just posted some vids of her driving in the fog from a while ago:

Btw. it was 200+ cars (as reported on their radio st. and initial published reports), for some reason the paper revised it down.
