Brushed Mirrors on Melbourne Red?

So I'm waiting on some gloss black vinyl for the chrome around the windows, but I'm debating whether I like this or not.. figured I'd get some opinions.

I put some brushed metallic vinyl on the mirror caps. Also added gloss black grills

Can't decide if red mirrors looks better or if I should go gloss black.... hmmm!!

I realized that right after finishing the second one

Haha, does that really affect it that much for you? this was a PITA to do, easy but a pain. I don't know if I would redo it to fix the direction though.

I like the mirror caps. Although gloss black might go better with your car. Where'd you get em?

I had a roll of brushed aluminum 3M vinyl laying around from when I wrapped my e90s interior, and just decided to wrap my stock ones. Considering CF covers from eBay they look decent for ~80 shipped. In the sun though the vinyl looks pretty solid.

How difficult is it to wrap them yourself? What type of equipment would you need to have? I love DIY but always assumed doing a wrap yourself might be a little to much.

Just the vinyl and patience. Work your way slowly to smooth it out and stretching a bit to make it perfect. Stock ones come right off. E90 was impossible with how curved the mirrors were. These are a lot easier.
