Hey guys i have a carbon fiber amuse ericcson trunk in bad condition and went to my carbon fiber guy and he said he could do a mold and do a group buy if theres about 15 people willing to do it. I got mine from a guy that purchased his from a seller in california (I'm pretty sure you guys know the website) and my carbon fiber guy said it was a nice trunk but could've been better because it didn't have the best material and was damaged a lot by the sun because they bake their trunks in low temperatures with their clear coats and the back side is also made of fiberglass....

Why potentially buy this trunk my guy is going to make?
Because it is going to be all carbon fiber on both sides of the trunk (UNLIKE THE ONE YOU SEE FOR SALE WHICH IS FIBERGLASS/DURAFLEX ON THE BACK) and he uses quality high temperature clear coat and resin and bakes it at 450-600 degrees so it will not yellow or crack in the sun in about a year or so after having the trunk like those reps you see online because they bake theirs at low temps.

He is estimating the price to be around 600-800 depending on the amount of people we can get and still working on the shipping. Payment would most likely be through paypal.

No cuz he's already trying to make a deal annd it's the way he makes the trunk, he doesn't really use another way

I don't think it will be any different the size of the duckbill but i would like it slightly bigger but we are going to make a mold of the original and i think it would be best to leave it that way as peoples preferences may differ...but as far as the holes for the badges there are none and their is no hole for the roundel either it is all smooth.

I actually prefer this trunk with the roundel on the back but its just applied with 3m tape so no biggie.

Do you know what the anticipated turn around time would be one these btw? (after we get enough ppl)

I have no clue man. He just told me to try and gather up some people. Maybe the first few would be done around end of June or early July depending how quick we get enough people

i know you can buy them from at least 3 different websites. this group buy is for if you want one exactly the same but way better quality for a couple hundred less. those that you see have an inner fiberglass/duraflex structure while these are going to be completely carbon fiber inside and out and the trunk will be baked at way higher temperatures those are usually baked at to avoid the clear coat from fading off and getting destroyed which happened with the trunk i purchased.
