LED Angel eye upgrade

I think they look very good and seems to be an inexpensive upgrade, found some one ebay that I like and then started watching youtube vids on how to do it. Holy shit, you have to remove the front wheels!!!! There's no way I can do this, I live in the city with no garage. I'm going to have to take it to the shop and pay for an hour's labor to have them install $40 bulbs. Jeeeezuz! So frustrating.

You don't necessarily need to remove wheels. I did my e90 without removal. A jack helps but just turn wheel to lock, pull front of fender liner and go at it. The car jacked up will give more space as wheel will drop some. It is tight but doable.

Go post in the regional section. I am sure you can find someone with space and probably knowledge of the install. Get to meet a fellow Bimmerhead and probably only cost you a beer or 4.

And my recommendation, spend some of what you would have on shop time on better LEDs, having used cheaper ones on my M5 and had both sides fail on me in a few short years, I will be buying a good set for wifes 335i.
Goodluck,
Matt

The LUX ones are the only ones that don't suck as far as I've seen. People go with the cheap fleabay ones or grab some Chinese brand off Amazon and all you hear are complaints.

Just do the LUX ones, you'll be happy and they are bright as hell.

Compare to my 3000 lumen LED Fogs (the corners in this photo were coded to their brightest setting):

I have not done a ton of research on the E90 lights, but as guy above said, LUX seems to be a goto one. Probably what we will get.

Looks good, what brand LED's/wattage for fogs? Been running HID's for 5-6 years in my fogs but the led's are so much better these days.

Here's what 3000 lumen LED's do behind selective yellow lenses:

My Lux V5.2 failed after 3.5 years. They offered to try to fix for a "small cost", but at $125 I just ordered the newest V6 set.
